Yota Devices has finally put its foot down in Malaysia starting with the YotaPhone 1. The first YotaPhone made its way into selected smartphone market (Europe, Russia and Middle East) in 2013 followed by a second generation YotaPhone being shown to the public at Mobile World Congress 2014.
Yota Devices is the first smart devices company to introduce the world’s first dual-screen smartphone with an always-on display. Thanks to the electronic paper technology, the display is always on even after the battery is drained.
Coined “The E-Ink display” that is located at the back of the phone, users can ping items from the main screen to the e-ink display by swiping down from the top with two fingers. Basically almost anything can be transported to the e-ink display and what’s even amazing is the e-ink display can last up to more than 50 hours on a single charge.
The YotaPhone also doubles up as an e-reader thanks to the anti-glare e-ink display.
